Our View: When the two sides want different solutions there’s no point to negotiations

...it is not up to the Leadership or the UN for that matter, to defend a Cypriot's identity from "Turkishness", and "Greekness", it is the People themselves who must demonstrate this will.

Who represents Cypriots, as Cypriots, i ask. It is a serious question. Divided as they are this Leadership, (in this broad sense) they have exposed themselves as impotent legislators to make change, for Cypriots: having embraced "these" dogmas (by not opposing them), having divided themselves accordingly for the voters "this" represents.

...will the People themselves, therefore, openly seek change; to end all "this", a State above these Nations (a BBF)? Will they come out and show themselves (under the Flag, not "Greek", not "Turk", but rightfully theirs, of Cyprus) to be defending the Universal Principles which define "us" beyond "them", as Individuals, Human, equal and Free?

Indeed, it is not hard for me to imagine this change, and of intention, of people embracing a new meaning for the word Enosis in a Cypriot way. And they, the People, have not spoken yet waiting for their Leadership; this may change. Also, let's not forget, that as voters, as Cypriots, they are not small in numbers as "they" would have you believe, they always represent over decades, a majority, and something more than half any way it is counted.

...indeed, "the two sides", kind of says it all when in effect (including the Cypriots) there are three.
